Exhibition: friends from work.
Today, the vast majority of artists do not make a living solely from the sale of their paintings, sculptures, videos, installations, or performances. Many hold jobs adjacent to the arts, while others work in entirely different fields. These jobs often, sometimes unexpectedly, serve as sites of connection and community. Shared workspaces can become places where creative relationships and even friendships form and where the boundaries between labor and artistic practice begin to blur. friends from work. reimagines the day job not as a detour from artistic life, but as a generative space; one that sparks new ideas, and fosters problem-solving strategies that carry into the studio.
